Synopsis
The Corpse Vanishes
Brides die on the alter and their bodies are snatched from the morgue by Dr. Lorenz (Bela Lugosi), who needs their blood to keep his 80 year old wife young and beautiful. He is assisted in his gruesome experiments by a household of bizarre characters including a sadistic dwarf (Angelo Rossitto), a monstrous half-witted giant and their witchlike mother. A nosy reporter, who is on the case of the missing corpses, must spend a night of horror in the mad doctor's chamber of torture. Often cited as one of the best and most cohesive of Lugosi's poverty row features, The Corpse Vanishes also stands today as the most horrific of the infamous 1940's "Monogram 9."

Dead Men Walk
Dr. Lloyd Clayton attends the funeral of his twin brother Elwyn, a diabolical sorcerer, after murdering him in a desperate act of self-defense. Yet Elwyn isn't ready for the hereafter and comes back to life as a twisted vampire, taking revenge on Lloyd in a chilling clash of good vs. evil. Dwight Frye makes a memorable appearance as Zolarr, Elwyn's hunchbacked servant, in this cult classic.

The Human Monster
Legendary "Dracula" star Bela Lugosi has one of his more sadistic and horrific roles as a fraudulent insurance broker in this eerie British thriller. Scotland Yard detective Lieutenant Holt is charged with investigating the mysterious drownings of five people. Lugosi plays Doctor Orloff who has written the insurance policies on all of the victims. Holt's investigation leads him to a home for the blind after he discovers a Braille message in the pocket of the latest murdered body. He enlists the aid of the beautiful daughter of one of the deceased to help investigate the murderous activities at the home. The inspector finds himself racing against the clock to put the pieces of the mysterious puzzle together before another murder takes place and the surprise ending is revealed.

King Of The Zombies
Bill Summers, James 'Mac' McCarthy and valet Jefferson 'Jeff' Jackson are forced to down their small aircraft on a remote Caribbean island. A mad scientist is using voodoo & hypnotism to turn the local populace into an army of zombies. His fiendish plan is to use them in gathering secret defense information for the Axis. Mantan Moreland as Jackson steals the show with a memorable comic performance that elevates the "King Of The Zombies" to a cult classic.

The Mad Monster
Dr. Lorenzo Cameron, a discredited mad doctor believes that injecting wolf blood into humans will create an invincible army of werewolves to defeat the Axis. But instead of unleashing his monster on the Nazis, he turns his creation against the scientists who had engineered his professional downfall. Despite his liberal use of a whip, Cameron finds himself unable to control his creature as it escapes on a murderous rampage.

The Mad Monster so shocked the British censors that the film was banned in the UK until 1952, when the film could be exhibited only with a disclaimer on the matter of blood transfusions.

The Monster Maker
Insane Doctor Igor Markoff, who injects famous concert pianist Lawrence with a serum that produces a disfiguring disease, grotesquely distorting bones and facial features. By promising him an antidote, Markoff blackmails Lawrence for the hand in marriage of his beautiful daughter. Naish and Morgan give flawless performances in this audacious and often grim production.
